The structured bell skirt is a big trend this season. Again, this look is mostly from Magico Imperiale, Italian fashion boutique. I style it with a black zipper jacket, black tights and black thigh high boots. I was elated to find that tights (they called ’em leotards in my day) are actually in style and now I can wear the mini or midi skirt without displaying my cellulite thighs to the world. The Rex handbag is from Ogilvy’s and my hat, which completes this look, is a wide brim bolero hat with a velvet bow in the back. Très chic! The jacket is made from stretch material so it’s very comfortable. I found that styling this type of skirt can be a bit tricky. You don’t want to lose your waistline so I balance the wide bottom with a fitted waist on top. This skirt is honestly to DIE for…I just love its classy look without being silly or too much volume where you wind up looking like a ballerina that has lost her way from the Nutcracker performance at the concert hall.
